Notes from CPA/CA Workshop in Nashville
Michael Kreidler and I (Jim Coyle) enjoyed our workshop on Podcasting at the Catholic Media Convocation in Nashville today. We appreciate the interest, questions and comments. Here are some links related to the workshop:

"Podsafe Music" - some sites that offer music podcasters can use:
- Magnatune - information page for podcasters
- music.podshow.com - Register as a Podcaster for free access to the music
- garageband.com - (a music site, not Apple's software.) Use this page to apply as a podcaster for free access to the music
A new resource about podcasting legal issues is the new Podcasting Legal Guide from Creative Commons. It's free online and has valuable information for podcasters.
Libsyn is the podcast hosting company we used: libsyn.com
Although we didn't talk about it to the whole group, a free Internet phone service is Skype used by many podcasters. You can use Skype to talk with other Internet users and/or call regular telephones in the U.S. and Canada for no charge through the end of the year. Pamela Systems is one of the sites that has several "plug-ins" that record Skype calls.
Be sure to check out the sites in the brochure we distributed today for more information about podcasting equipment, podcast directories, and more.
Here's a site with information about marketing your podcasts. We're sorry we ran out of time on this essential topic.
Please join us on the Disciples with Microphones Forum to join the discussion with many other folks interested in Catholic Podcasting.
Finally, we invite you to e-mail us if you have questions - or want to tell us about your progress in podcasting.
